Network Travels was established in the year1992. The inbound operators were started in the year 1993 and have been successfully handling the tours & travels to the North East India region. We are the first Govt. Of India recognized tour operator here in Northeast India.

Network Travels at the outset was incorporated to provide connectivity by road to the important destinations within the North-Eastern Region. This has been achieved by maintaining a large fleet of Deluxe Omni Buses / fleet of small cars and as of now we are the largest operator in this segment. Excellence has been the hallmark of our operations and we leave no stone unturned to achieve this objective. Over the years we have diversified our activities and maintaining the same degree of excellence we now provide our services in the following areas:

1. We have a Travel agency named Network travels International with accreditation to IATA and we deal with both domestic and international ticketing.

2. Our Tourism tourism division which
(a) Deals with in-bound tourists, domestic and international visitors for all major destination of Northeast including Sikkim and Darjeeling.
(b) Deals with out-bound tourists to Indian and international destinations.

With the operation of a travel agency and tourism division we are in a position to offer the best rates and a comprehensive package to intending in-bound and out-bound tourists, caters to all the requirements of inbound operations for complete packages and tailor made itineraries for the special interest groups. Our team is headed by the experienced Hemanta Das who has been in the trade for 18 years and himself traveled all over the region gathering first hand information and knowledge. His team comprises of experienced and professional people from the region who has the capacity to make the visit of guests memorable and enjoyable.

Network Travels had spread its wings to Kaziranga NP and Nameri NP as well.

“Jupuri Ghar” situated at Kohora, Kaziranga and consists of eight cottages with a Central Dining Room. The main structure is made from treated bamboo, which is very durable and provides a very cheap alternative to concrete housing. The entire northeast is a Seismic-V Zone and construction of these lightweight structures could reduce casualties in the event of a major earthquake. Most importantly bamboo is found in abundance in the northeast and plays a very important role in our daily lives and a fitting tribute is the construction of these eco-friendly cottages. All cottages are fitted with air-conditioners and geysers. Power back-up facilities has been provided in case of outages.

This will be an ideal location for staying and exploring the surrounding areas. It is within the vicinity of our world heritage site, the Kaziranga National Park, which has been a success story for the conservation of the endangered one horn rhinoceros and other rare species of fauna.

It is an undisputed fact that North-East India has immense potential for eco tourism given its natural beauty and diverse flora and fauna. To this end we have been successfully running and managing the following:
Eco Camp situated at Potasali, Nameri National Park, is a very popular eco tourism site and has boarding and lodging facilities. Apart from this we also undertake rafting on the Jia Bhoroli river. The Golden Mahseer, once found in abundance in the Jia Bhoroli River is almost on the brink of extinction due to over-fishing and use of illegal and cruel methods of harvesting e.g. dynamite, use of poisons, etc. The Golden Mahseer is an angler’s delight, as one requires patience, skill and dexterity to snare this magnificent fish. The Assam Bhoreli Angling & Conservation Association was formed to save the mahseer from extinction and we are
Proud to be partners of this effort. Here one can appreciate nature to its fullest and can complement the practical manifestations of Environmental Studies.
