Day 01: Guwahati - Nameri National Park
Arrive in Guwahati received and transferred to Nameri National Park (230 kms/06 hrs). Situated at the foothills of eastern Himalayas Nameri National Park covers an area of about 200 Sq Km. Hills, deciduous forests and the river Jia Bhoroli have all added an unique charm to it. Over night stay at Eco- Camp.
Day 02: Nameri - Ziro
After breakfast drive to Ziro- the land of Apatani tribes of Arunachal Pradesh. Early morning drive to Ziro (320 kms / 08 hrs).Ziro --- situated at an altitude of 5754 ft from the sea level. This high town is almost a level valley enveloped in all sides by pine clad low stooping hills. Zero is a small picturesque destination with pine and bamboo grooves, villages, a craft centre and a tarin fish farm. Enroute visit and explore Nishi Tribal Villages. Over night at Ziro.
Day 03: Ziro
Visit ethnic Hong Village (one of the largest tribal village in Asia) and other Apatani villages around Ziro. Overnight at Ziro.
DAY 04: Ziro
At Ziro. Explore Ziro Limekin Nishi tribal country. Over night at Ziro.
Day 05: Ziro - Daporizo
Drive to Daporizo (176 kms / 07 hrs). Daparizo is the Headquarter of the Upper Subansiri district of Arunachal Pradesh located at an altitude of 600 m - land of Tagin & Hill Miris. Enroute visit Nishi & Tagin villages. Over night at Daporizo or Damporizo inspection Bungalow (basic).
Day 06: Daporizo
Explore Tagin country (whole tagin areas are very ethnic) towards Nacho lymekin road. Over night at Daporizo.
Day 07: Daporizo - Along
Drive to Along (167 kms/ 06 hrs). Along, the HQ of West Siang District of Arunachal Pradesh located at an altitude of 300 m. Along is inhabited by Adi (Galong) tribes. Adi has different sub tribes like Adi (Galong, Miniyong, Pasi, Padam, Bori and Borak ) which differs from each other. Visit Kabo village in the afternoon. Over night at Along.
Day 08: Along
Explore Adi country. Over night at Along.
DAY 09: Along - Passighat
Drive to Passighat (147 kms / 05 hrs). Passighat is the oldest town of Arunachal Pradesh established in 1911 and the present head quarter of the East Siang District. Passighat is the gateway of Arunachal Pradesh for those who wish to travel to the Siang District or even to unexplored Gelling which is the confluence point of River Sangpo and Siang. It is also the land of Passi and Minnyiong tribes. Enroute enjoy the great view of Great Siang and Siyom confluence. The origin of Great River Brahmaputra. Visit Minnyion villages enroute. Over night at Passighat.
Day 10: Passighat - Dibrugarh
Drive and cruise on Brahmaputra to Dibrugarh (6 hrs) - the tea hub of Assam. Over night at Planters heritage Bungalow.
Day 11: Dibrugarh - Tai Phake - Tinsukia
After breakfast, visit Tai Phake village near Naharkatia which is 80 kms / 2 hrs east of Dibrugarh - beautiful people of Tai Ahom with their unique culture. Afternoon visit Borajan wildlife Sanctuary to see Hoolok Gibbon (the only Ape of India). Over night stay at Tinsukia.
Day 12: Dibrugarh - Fly
After breakfast go for an exclusive Tea tour to learn all about Tea. Fly to Kolkata / Delhi from Dibrugarh.
