DAY 01: DIBRUGARH
Arrival at Dibrugarh airport – Dibrugarh is situated on the South bank of river Brahmaputra. It is a major town and trade centre of Upper Assam and also a major tea producing and educational centre. Received & transfer to Mancotta Bunglow – the 100 years old Heritage Planters Bungalow. Afternoon free at leisure. You can opt for a Tea Tour to know about tea plantation and processing.
Over night stay in Mancotta Bunglow.
DAY 02: DIBRUGARH - MON
After breakfast, drive to Mon (170 kms / 06 hrs) – located at an altitude of 897.64 meters above sea level is the land of Konyak Nagas, they were one of the great warriors among Nagas. Afternoon go for a walk through the Mon Market.
Over night at Mon.
DAY 03: MON
After breakfast, drive to Shangnyu village - this village is ruled by the Chief Angh is a prominent village in Mon district. There is a wonderful wooden monument measuring 8 feet in height and 12 feet in breadth- believed to be constructed by heavenly angels. After lunch Chui village – it is situated about 8 kms from Mon. One can see the Angh’s mansion and other house constructed in true Konyak tradition with palm - leaf finished roofing and main pillars jutting out. Evening at leisure.

DAY 04: MON - MOKOKCHUNG
After an early breakfast, drive to Mokokchung (220kms / 7 hrs ) – located at an altitude of 1325 meters above sea level, this picturesque town is the cultural center of the Ao tribes. The Ao Nagas is famous for their colourful dances. Evening visit Ungma village - the biggest Ao. According to legend, the early Aos settled here first after coming from Chungliyimti.
Overnight at Mokokchung.
DAY 05: MOKOKCHUNG
After breakfast, we set to explore Longkhum - a vanguard village of the days of head hunting is situated at an altitude of 1846metres and is 17km from the Mokokchung town. The Aos have a belief that Longkhum is the resting place for the dead on their onward journey to paradise. Evening free at leisure.
Overnight at Mokokchung.
DAY 06: MOKOKCHUNG - TUOPHEMA
After breakfast, drive to Tuophema village (167 kms / 05 hrs) – in this village Sekrenyi festival is celebrated during the month of February. Evening cultural show at guest house.
Over night at Tuophema village.
DAY 07: TUOPHEMA - KOHIMA
After breakfast, we will proceed to Kohima – the capital of Nagaland (40 kms / 02 hrs). En route visit the Kohima museum – rich in traditional arts and craft. After lunch visit War Memorial, Kisema village (12 km from Kohima) - it is a Naga Heritage Village, which comprises of a number of beautifully - built traditional houses and morungs (Naga boys’ dormitories), it is the venue for the Hornbill festival.

DAY 08: KOHIMA - KAZIRANGA NATIONAL PARK
Drive to Kaziranga National Park (215 kms / 07 hrs) - a World Heritage Site and Tiger reserve - is home to more than 80% of the world’s population of the Great One Horned Rhinoceros. It has a significant population of Asian Elephant and Water Buffalos living here and a wide variety of fauna and avifauna in a unique habitat of mainly grasslands, close tangled and thorny rattan cane, elephant grass and tall trees of evergreen forest and numerous water bodies. More than 400 species of birds both resident and migratory are found here. Evening free at leisure.

DAY 09: KAZIRANGA
Early morning take an Elephant ride in the Central range of the park. The Central range is good for birds such as Falcate Teal, White-eyed Pochard, Grey headed Fishing Eagle, Crested Serpent Eagle and Spot-billed Pelican. Bengal Florican can also be seen in this range , then back to the lodge. After breakfast we go for an exclusive jeep safari in the Central range of the park. After lunch Jeep Safari in Western range of the park - ideal for grassland birds and game like Rhinos and Water Buffaloes.
Overnight stay at Kaziranga.
DAY 10: KAZIRANGA TO GUWAHATI
After breakfast drive to Guwahati (220kms / 05 hrs), for onward destination.
