DAY 01: GUWAHATI – MANAS
On arrival at Guwahati, received and transferred to Manas National Park (174km/5hrs) – the most stunning pristine wildlife habitat in India, comparable to the best in the world in respect of the beauty of its spectacular landscape, covering an area of 519 Sqkms. Located at the foothills of Eastern Himalaya, it derives its name from the river Manas that flows throughout the park from the north to south. The Manas National Park is the world heritage site, the Biosphere reserve and also the Elephant Reserve. This Brahmaputra Valley semi-evergreen forest Terrestrial Eco -region is also the richest in species of all Indian wildlife areas and the only known home for the rare and endangered Assam Roofed Turtle, Hispid Hare, Golden Langur and Pygmy Hog. Evening at leisure.

DAY 02: MANAS
Early morning Elephant ride into the forest and back to the lodge for breakfast. After breakfast, we will take a village walk to see its people and their culture. Afternoon Jeep safari through the Central range of the park to the place called Mathanguri just few steps away from Indo-Bhutan boundary. The Mathanguri is one of the most beautiful points in the entire national park. Then, journey back to lodge.
Over night stay at Manas.
DAY 03: MANAS – TEZPUR
After breakfast, drive to the romantic city Tezpur (300kms / 06hrs) - the beautiful historical town of Tezpur is well known for its ancient temples and ruins. Evening visit Chitralekha Uddyan.
Overnight at Tezpur.
DAY 04: TEZPUR – KAZIRANGA
After breakfast, visit Agni Garh, Bamuni Pahar at Tezpur and then drive to Kaziranga National Park (81kms/02hrs) - a World Heritage Site and Tiger reserve - is home to more than 80% of the world’s population of the Great One Horned Rhinoceros. It has a significant population of Asian Elephant and Water Buffalos living here and a large variety of fauna and avifauna in a unique habitat of mainly grasslands, close tangled and thorny rattan cane, elephant grass and tall trees of evergreen forest and numerous water bodies. More than 400 species of birds both resident and migratory are found here. Afternoon Jeep safari in the Western range of the park. Evening free at leisure.
Overnight at Kaziranga.
DAY 05: KAZIRANGA – GUWAHATI
Early morning Elephant ride in the Central range of the park: the Central range is good for water birds such as Falcate Teal, White-eyed Pochard, Grey headed Fishing Eagle, Crested Serpent Eagle and Spot-billed Pelican. Bengal Florican can also be seen in this range. After breakfast drive to Guwahati (230kms/05hrs) - gateway to the North East India, situated on the south bank of the mighty Brahmaputra, the city is the principal centre of socio – cultural, political, industrial and trade & commerce of the entire region. Evening visit Balaji Mandir - the replica of Tirupati Balaji and evening cruise in the river Brahmaputra.
Overnight at Guwahati.
DAY 06: GUWAHATI AIR PORT
After breakfast drive to Guwahati airport for onward destination.
