DAY 01: GUWAHATI - SHILLONG
Arrive at Guwahati, received & transferred to Shillong (120 kms / 03 hrs) –located at an altitude of 1,491m above sea level is one of the largest hill stations in India and is named after its creator, U. lei Shyllong, a powerful deity, who is believed to have resided on the Shillong Peak. Evening visit Police Bazar – the heart of Shillong city.
Overnight at Shillong.

DAY 02: SHILLONG – CHERRAPUNJEE - SHILLONG
After breakfast, day excursion to Cherrapunjee (56 kms) - is known as the rainiest rain -belt in the world, located at 1300 meter above sea level. The lovely town is also famous for its limestone caves and orange honey. En route visit Shillong Peak (the highest point in Meghalaya -1965 meters), Elephant Falls. At Cherrapunjee visit Mawsmai Falls, Mawsmai Cave, Thankarang Park (overlooking Bangladesh) and Nohkalikai falls (The fourth highest fall in the World).Drive back to Shillong , evening at leisure.

DAY 03: SHILLONG – JOWAI – SHILLONG
After breakfast, drive to Jowai (60kms/2hrs) – land of Jaintia tribes in Meghalaya. Enroute visit Smith Village, Ialong tourist village and acquaint yourself with the typical Jaintia life at Dulong. Afternoon back to Shillong.

DAY 04: SHILLONG – KAZIRANGA NATIONAL PARK
After an early breakfast proceed to Kaziranga National Park (300 Kms / 08 hrs) – a world heritage site and also a Tiger reserve is home to more than 80% of the world’s population of the Great One Horned Rhinoceros. It has a significant population of Asian Elephant and Water Buffaloes living here. It has a wide variety of fauna and avifauna in a unique habitat of mainly grasslands, close tangled and thorny rattan cane, elephant grass and tall trees of evergreen forest and numerous water bodies. More than 400 species of birds both resident and migratory are found here. Evening free at leisure.

DAY 05: KAZIRANGA NATIONAL PARK
Early morning take an Elephant ride in the Central range of the park ( The Central range is good for birds such as Falcate Teal, White-eyed Pochard, Grey headed Fishing Eagle, Crested Serpent Eagle and Spot-billed Pelican. Bengal Florican can also be seen in this range), then back to the lodge. After breakfast we will go for an exclusive jeep safari in the Central range of the park. After lunch Jeep Safari in Western ranges of the park - ideal for grassland birds and big game like Rhinos.

Overnight stay at Kaziranga.

DAY 06: KAZIRANGA NATIONAL PARK – NAMERI NATIONAL PARK.
After breakfast, start journey to Nameri National Park via Tezpur (130 kms / 03 hrs) - it is covering an area of about 200sqkms. The park is the second Tiger reserve of Assam. The park consists of deciduous forests, hills and the river Jia Bhoroli flows through it. The rich wildlife includes Tiger, Black bear, Elephant, Leopard, Clouded Leopard, Indian Bison, Pangolin, Indian Wild Dog, Deer, Civet Cat, Capped Langur, Jackals etc. Various species of birds such as the endangered White Winged Wood Duck, four species of Hornbill, Butterflies and Reptiles are also found here.En route visit the Historic Tezpur Town and its ruins and temples constructed during the reign of ‘Ban Dynasty’.

DAY 07: NAMERI NATIONAL PARK - GUWAHATI
Early in the morning go for an exclusive River Rafting on Jia Bhorali River (smooth water rafting). Enjoy the ecstatic view of Himalayan Foot Hills along with the rare treasure of its bird life & the eco system of Nameri National Park that has been the paradise for nature lovers. After lunch drive to Guwahati (230 kms / 05 hrs) – gateway to the North East India, situated on the south bank of the mighty Brahmaputra, the city is the principal centre of socio – cultural, political, industries and trade & commerce of the entire region.

Over night at Guwahati.

DAY 08: FLY
After an early breakfast visit Kamakhya Temple and proceed to Guwahati Airport for onward destination.
