DAY 01: DIBRUGARH
Arrive at Dibrugarh - situated on the South bank of river Brahmaputra. It is a major town and trade centre of Upper Assam and also a major tea producing and educational centre. Transferred to Mancotta Chang Bungalow; night halt: located amidst an amiable atmosphere in the middle of the Mancotta Tea estate, this 157 year old bungalow is raised in wooden stilts.

DAY 02: DIBRUGARH – SIBSAGAR
After breakfast, go for an exclusive tea tour –treading through the tea gardens sprawling for miles in both sides of the road and enjoying the calmness and enchantments that are attached to their surrounding is indeed a great attraction of Dibrugarh. Back to Bunglow and start journey to Sibsagar – bearing the name ‘Rongpur’ it was once the capital of mighty Ahom Kings. Famous for its numerous big tanks and historical monuments like Ranghar, Kareng Ghar, Joydol, Vishnudol, Devidol, and so on.

DAY 03: SIBSAGAR – MAJULI
After breakfast, visit Rong ghar, Kareng ghar, Sivadol and Siva sagar. Lunch en route and henceforth we start our journey to Majuli (73 Kms/ 1.5 Hrs) – perhaps the second largest river island is a treasure of cultural heritage of the region. The founder of ‘Eka Naam Dharma’ Srimanta Shankardeva took shelter in Majuli in the Fifteenth Century and ever since that Majuli has emerged as the crowning glory of Vaishnavaite culture in Assam. Majuli has a unique treasure of natural and cultural attractions. A melting point of various tribes, Majuli is multifaceted in its attractions that unfurls to its vanity are the rare migratory birds like Adjutant Stork, Pelican, Siberian Crane, etc., traditional handicrafts and pottery, the Mask – craft, ethnic culture and colorful festivals. The dance forms which is a treasure house of the various ‘Satras’ in this place are the unique contributions of the great saint.

DAY 04: MAJULI
After breakfast, we shall visit the ‘Garmur Satra’ , ‘Uttar Kamalabari Satra’ and ‘Auni Ati Satra’. These satras are the epitome of the Assamese culture. Afternoon visit ‘Dakhinpat Satra’ – a centre of a considerable collection of art forms and literatures which dates back to the Ahom dynasty. Shamaguri Satra: A store house of famous mask craft. Evening enjoy the traditional Satriya dance performed by the monks.

DAY 05: MAJULI – JORHAT
After breakfast, ferry to Jorhat – a major tea producing and tea research Centre. Reach Nimatighat and transferred to Sangsua Planter’s Bunglow - located amidst the far sprawling tea gardens and in a peaceful and calm atmosphere this bungalow is associated with a unique and graceful lifestyle of an age gone by that offers a unique experience to the visitors. Afternoon go for a Tea tour to get a glimpse of life in tea gardens.

DAY 06: JORHAT – KAZIRANGA
After breakfast, drive to Kaziranga National Park (100 Kms / 2 Hrs.) - a World Heritage Site and also a tiger reserve is home to more than 80% of the world’s population of the Great One Horned Rhinoceros. It has a significant population of Asian Elephants and Water Buffaloes living here and also has a wide variety of fauna and avifauna in a unique habitat of mainly grasslands, close tangled and thorny rattan cane, elephant grass and tall trees of evergreen forest and numerous water bodies. More than 400 species of birds both resident and migratory are found here. Afternoon go for a Jeep Safari in the Western range of the Park - ideal for grassland birds. This range is preferred for seeing big game like rhinos and water buffaloes.

DAY 07: KAZIRANGA
Early morning Elephant ride in the Central range of the Park followed by a Jeep safari in the same range: The Central range is good for water birds such as Falcate Teal, White-eyed Pochard, Grey headed Fishing Eagle, Crested Serpent Eagle and Spot-billed Pelican. Bengal Florican can also be seen in this range. After lunch Jeep Safari in the Western range of the park. Evening at leisure.

DAY 08: KAZIRANGA – GUWAHATI
After breakfast, drive to Guwahati (220 Kms/ 5 Hrs.) - gateway to the North East India, situated on the south bank of the mighty Brahmaputra, the city is a principal centre of socio – cultural, political, industrial and trade & commerce of the entire region. Evening cruise in the river Brahmaputra.
Overnight at Guwahati.
DAY 09: GUWAHATI AIR PORT
After Breakfast drive to Kamakhya Temple – one of the most sacred Hindu pilgrimage and then to Guwahati Airport for onward destination.
